HOPPY HOPPY JOY JOY..............

Well Steve has found a great way to spend a day having fun and actually creating some interesting liquid libations in the process.  Steve and James Costa (Oakland Brewing Company) http://www.oaklandbrewing.com/ have teamed up to collaborate and produce some new and interesting beers for the local Bay Area market.  The first release is a Double IPA named Hoppy Hoppy Joy Joy, Exactly how we felt the day we got together and brewed it.

All the upcoming batches will be brewed at Schooners Grille and Brewery in Antioch, http://www.schoonersbrewery.com/  (James' other day job!!).  The max batch size will be ~15 BBL's and we will be releasing draft only versions of the upcoming project beers.

Batch 1:

Hoppy Hoppy Joy Joy

9.1% ABV with bucco IBU's and packed with Columbus, Citra and Simcoe hops.  It is dankity dank you can take that to the bank.  Total release was 6 BBL's so if you see it you better enjoy it cause it won't be there long!!!

Batch 2:

London Calling Dark Mild

Scheduled to be brewed the first week of 2013, target of 3.5-3.8% ABV but loaded with delicious malt flavors.
